One of WOCAN's core capabilities is its ability to provide Women's Leadership courses. WOCAN has developed a powerful and effective course - Reframing Leadership for Gender Equality - based on its extensive experience of gender and leadership development within agriculture and natural resource environments.
WOCAN has in the past provided this course for client organizations. As a continual evolvement of the services we provide to others, WOCAN is now proud to announce its 'open' Reframing Leadership course, to be held in Bangkok, August 26-30, 2013.
What is Different about this Leadership Course?
In general leadership poses a challenge for women and men - it is largely conceptualized and practiced in 'masculine' terms. This course reframes leadership to advance effective women's leadership and gender equality within agriculture and natural resource management sectors.
The course is offered to women and men with management and leadership responsibilities - in organizations engaged in agricultural and natural resource management. It provides the knowledge and skills to strategically lead, through personal growth and development, building teams, and developing effective networks.
