GGCA WEBINAR: Gender and Climate Change in the SDGs

GGCA WEBINAR SERIES: Gender and Climate Change in the SDGs

This was the fifth in the "Global Gender and Climate Alliance Webinar Series" on issues that affect gender and climate change.

Countries are beginning to implement policies and programs to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that were signed last September. Gender and climate change are cross-cutting issues throughout the 17 goals and 169 targets. In advance of the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development taking place from 11-20 July, this webinar was an opportunity to explore how to ensure gender and climate change are at the forefront of SDG implementation, including what gender and climate advocates can do to hold their countries accountable and monitor progress.
