The Global Gender and Climate Alliance launched at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali in December 2007 by our founding members IUCN, UNDP, UNEP, and WEDO.
GGCA Interim Coordinator, Vicky Markham
Vicky Markham joined the GGCA team in February 2015. She works tirelessly to coordinate and serve our members, strengthen GGCA communications and outreach, and support GGCA’s strategic engagement in international negotiations and meetings. She is excited to work closely to maintain and improve the GGCA communications, outreach and support of GGCA’s strategic engagement in international negotiations and meetings, and other activities. Vicky brings to the GGCA an extensive background in global gender and climate change policy, advocacy and outreach, combined with experience in directing a non-profit organization, and writing and publishing on the issues. Vicky lives in Connecticut with her family and is just a short train-ride away from New York. She loves mentoring young leaders and is happy to share news from the US East Coast.
